About

Hello!! I’m a first time single mom to my beautiful boy S and we live in London. When he was born, in March 2012, I had so many people offering peices of advice. Don’t pick him up when he cries, he’ll get used to it; put him in a routine from week 2; don’t put him in a routine; co-sleep; don’t get him used to co-sleeping – it was endless. But I guess its a good thing because it got me thinking about what type of mom I want to be. Leave him crying, what? Wait! He’s a baby! This didn’t resonate with me at all so I started reading and doing research on all the different parenting methods out there. Ofcourse there are generalisations like attachment parenting, gentle parenting, passive parenting, etc but within those there are different variations. This blog is my way of sharing with the world all the different things I read and come upon.

It’s always been my goal to help people and try and make a difference in their lives. I hope in some small way, my blog does that. I also hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoy writing it. All opinions are my own, please don’t be offended by something you read. If your opinion is different then lets just agree to disagree. After all, it takes all sorts 😉
